I have spent quite some time going through this, and am convinced that my domain has become ‘stuck’ at the microsoft end somehow, and will need manual intervention by a microsoft technican familiar with this very specific problem to link it to my account. However nothing changes in my to suggest that my domain has been successfully linked. Godaddy confirms success and pulls through the microsoft DNS records successfully to their DNS servers. I am prompted to enter my domain name, and then sign in with godaddy which I do. I am able to enter my domain name and follow the steps. I transferred my domain to godaddy as required and completed the instructions as per the microsoft page ‘Get a personalized email address in Microsoft 365’ I am trying to set up a ‘personalized email address’ to send email from my custom domain name via Microsoft 365
